Event Description: With April 15th being “Tax Day”, it was decided to
schedule the second round of Tea Party protests to ride alongside the
tax deadline.

On March 13, 2009, Glenn Beck encouraged us all to hold “viewing parties” across the country. In Manchester, we met at Murphy’s Tap Room on Elm St.. Over a short couple of weeks several people managed to pull together over 250 people. Glenn proposed the “912project”… a movement meant to inspire us to bring out the feelings we had following that fateful 9/11/2001 that shook our Country and changed our lives.

And with that, the “Tax Day Tea Party”, the second round of the Nationwide Tea Party protests, moved into reality.
