March 10th Reminder of Our Constitutional Rights | From A Patriot
In support of our 10th Amendment mass reminder to Washington D.C., the letter below was submitted by a supporter concerned over the destruction of our Constitution and the preservation of our freedoms. Today, March 10th, send your representatives a reminder and share your voice by leaving a comment below.
Dear ____________,
I wanted to let you know that I have cast a ballot for you in past elections. I was not happy when you voted for the $700 billion bailout because I believe that the Federal government has no role in managing the economy. I am afraid that I may need to seek to place my support elsewhere in upcoming elections.
This is a friendly reminder that I still believe in the 10th Amendment. Please represent me.
For too long, the Federal government has taken upon itself powers that are not expressly granted in the Constitution. These powers are to be reserved to the states and individuals. Examples of these powers that are not granted are the passage of all of the economic recovery and bailout laws. These are not powers that are expressly granted to the Federal government and the government has no place in “managing” the national economy. “Central Planning” was not and is not a valid duty of government.
The proper duty of a government is to maintain a society free from aggression, a society in which no human being can can threaten by use of force to take away the liberty or pursuit of freedom and happiness of any other individual. Government all-to-often uses threat of force through excessive taxation and inflationary fiscal and monetary policies in order to take from one and to give to another. In doing so, it is no longer the referee of a free society, insuring its citizens their personal liberty and freedom. It becomes a forceful advocate for some to the detriment of others. This is morally wrong and is unacceptable in any instance.Thank you,
Todd Kading

Dear Representative Pelosi,
When you smile with that silly grin, you don’t represent me. When you push for more bailouts, and steal my money to fill your cohorts pockets, you don’t represent me. And, when you go home to your mansion in San Francisco on your private plan and tell the rest of America to conserve energy because there is an oil crisis, you represent only my disdain for power seekers.
So today, I am asking you to represent me by respecting your oath to the Constitution and the separation of powers explicitly drawn by the 10th Amendment by:
1. taking the grin off your face (if your plastic allows) because our problems are serious
2. tell your corporate friends to pay their own taxes before they steal ours
and,
3. Put your mansion and plane up for sale if your going to take away our ability to ever earn our own
Sincerely,
Your Employer

Hi All;
It is with pleasure I see others in this fight to win back our country. I am so happy that others see the same thing I do and want to do something about it. My question is this:
If the rich will pay all the taxes as outlined by the Democrats and the budget and stimuless package that passed both the House and the Senate, aren’t they legislating their own tax rate? They all earn upwards of 250,000 dollars and are in the 5 percent top wage bracket. Now do you all really think it’s going to be that wage bracket that is paying all these taxes? No, and why hasn’t anyone asked this question, it seems to me to be the most glaring of inconsistencies I’ve seen. Can anyone out there answer this for me? A staunch Federalist, government minimilist, conservative, Connie

Dear Senators Hutchison and Cornyn and Rep. Gonzalez:
This 4th of July will be an historic day for America. For the first time, We the People will begin to exercise lawful, peaceful, forceful self-government as the framers of the U.S. Constitution intended.
.
The national Tea Party movement recognizes the efforts of some State Legislatures who publicly restated the 10th Amendment this year, but on this 10th day of March, We the People vow to begin enforcing that 10th Amendment.
.
This year’s Tea Parties will be a warning shot across Congress’ bow. You will see the America Again! Declaration posted online soon; it’s a list of Congress’ violations of the U.S. Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land.
.
The Declaration will also list our demanded reform legislation, which We the People will be drafting and perfecting for future 4th of July Tea Parties.
.
At our Tea Party, we’ll have a sign-up table for our local Citizens’ Homeland Security Association, or “CHSA”. These CHSA groups will offer two kinds of opportunity for self-government: first, volunteers with credentials, skills or interest in disaster response, tactical firearms, heavy equipment, computer programming and the like will organize our citizens’ response unit described in Dr. Edwin Vieira’s book Constitutional Homeland Security, Volume I.
.
Second, volunteers with credentials, skills or interest in constitutional law, currency, banking, monetary policy, private property law, etc. will organize our CHSA’s Legal & Legislative Committee. You will soon have a whole new legislative drafting process, like it or not. You will pass such legislation without amendment, like it or not.
.
This 4th of July we’ll invite you, our U.S. senators and congressman, to publicly support our America Again! project. As you’ll see when you read our Declaration, if you refuse to stop violating the Constitution, we will take enforcement action against you, including time in your State Penitentiary and seizure of all your assets.
This 4th of July, we put teeth in our tea parties, and in the 10th Amendment. Prepare to serve the Constitution, or serve time.
Sincerely,
We the People of Texas

Senator Feinstein,
It is with sincerity and honesty that I write you to voice my concern with the troubles we are facing today. I am not a Democrat, a Republican, nor affiliated with any other political party. I am an American that is concerned about the eroding of the non-partisan principles of self-responsibility and respect for the rule of law as set forth in the Constitution for which we have elected you to uphold your oath.
With the bailouts spiraling out of control, I ask you to respect your oath to protect my right to succeed and be charitable on my own accord. As we see our tax dollars used to fund failing banks and business, I ask you to respect my right to use the fruits of my own labor, for more productive and socially beneficial purposes.
I know you have good intentions and a good heart, but so do I and so many of people opposed to the influx of government in our lives. We are supportive of our Country, friends to our neighbors, and deserve respect from our elected leaders. I ask that you not put the next great plan to save our country in the hands of the people that created it. Let Americans fix our problems. Let Americans produce. Let the people be the answer and show the same faith in human decency that we have entrusted to you.
On this March 10th, I am reminding you of the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. This Amendment was inserted into the Constitution and I ask that you represent me by supporting it.
With respect and sincerity,
CP
