Obama mobilizes massive, grassroots push for $3.6 trillion budget

Tapping into his vast grassroots campaign network, President Obama is calling upon his supporters to knock on doors, contact Congress, and gather signatures to build support for an increasingly unpopular budget proposal.

The grassroots effort is being directed by the Democratic National Committee and is aimed at drawing from a pool of 13 million campaign volunteers who helped Obama during his presidential campaign.

It’s quite clear that President Obama is feeling the heat over his outrageous budget. To combat this elaborate campaign, we encourage our supporters to spread the word regarding the upcoming tea party rallies, to flood your local Reps and Senators with calls and emails to reject this budget, and to meet this latest political campaign with better, more educated solutions.

Obama, his administration, and the Democratic majority are laying down the gauntlet. It’s time we step up to the plate and meet this challenge head on.

Cincinnati tea party draws about 5,000

Approximately 5,000 gathered in Cincinnati to protest the Obama administration’s corporate bailouts and massive spending packages.  Organized by the New American Tea Party, organizers utilized local talk radio, the internet, and cell phone cameras to spread the word about the protest.  According to the article, this may have been the largest protest rally in Cincinnati since the Vietnam War.  This is only the beginning…
