Obama mobilizes massive, grassroots push for $3.6 trillion budget
Tapping into his vast grassroots campaign network, President Obama is calling upon his supporters to knock on doors, contact Congress, and gather signatures to build support for an increasingly unpopular budget proposal.
The grassroots effort is being directed by the Democratic National Committee and is aimed at drawing from a pool of 13 million campaign volunteers who helped Obama during his presidential campaign.
It’s quite clear that President Obama is feeling the heat over his outrageous budget. To combat this elaborate campaign, we encourage our supporters to spread the word regarding the upcoming tea party rallies, to flood your local Reps and Senators with calls and emails to reject this budget, and to meet this latest political campaign with better, more educated solutions.
Obama, his administration, and the Democratic majority are laying down the gauntlet. It’s time we step up to the plate and meet this challenge head on.

It is so nice to see a whole movement that is lead by wall street derivatives traders and known drug addicts like Limbaugh and Beck. Maybe you would do better to protest the removal of your constitutional rights by the republican party. Do you people even have a clue…you aren't that much of a bunch of suckers….are you?

And doesn't most of this site say that it supports the independents more than either party?
Even if this site does lean towards more of the conservative ideals, doesn't the republican party tend to be more around leaving people with more rights and less laws.
The democratic party, for example, is largely in support of gun control, which flies in the face of the second amendment. Now, tell me again, which party is more interested in separating America from it's rights?
Both parties are, screwed up, probably beyond repair, and it is clear you have your mind set to ignore anything that challenges any part of the democratic party. Unfortunately there are a lot of people in both parties who vote only for their party and not the candidate that they truly think would serve America best. It is people like that, people like you, who have ensured the failure of the bipartisan system.

Finally an organization is born to help America. We can't defend our property because the ACLU will come after us or we can't have a decent election because Acorn is disrupting the system but it is alright for the politicans to use our taxes to support Acorn.

Arthur,
You need to get your head examined. The dems and all this spending are in no way in the interest of the people. They do it to get votes, that's why they love illegals and want to get them citizenship/amnesty.
On the reverse side it's easy to say your whole movement is led by socialists/communists and people who promise other people “stuff” to get votes. I find that deplorable. I find it assinine that any American would have such low morals as to want the government to take money from other Americans and give them health care.
What do you mean “drug addicts”, I find it hipocritical when you say that and your side wants to legalise them! The suckers are the morons who voted in this idiot thinking he was going to pay their mortgage, buy them a new car, get them a job, buy them healthcare, get them a larger TV, etc. He didn't mention what freedom you would have to give up when the government controls everything. Yeah, libtards love constitutional rights, for terrorists and illegal aliens. If you are an American citizen, they would like to remove your constitutional right to bear arms or speak out against the government (ie-”Fairness” doctrine) or choose to buy health care or not, or which kind of car to drive, or how to heat your house and at what degree you keep it, and on, and on, and on.
Are you on the side of the people or the government? The problem with the government today is that they no longer fear the American citizen.

The less government the better,if you want your human rights respected and protected.

Exactly Pat,
If you want your rights respected and protected, PLEASE exercise your second amendment rights. Buy I gun, learn how to use it. Teach your children the values our founding fathers had. If your state allows you to carry concealed, get the license. The second amendment is the one that protects all the others and protects you from the government. If you are a patriot, it is your DUTY to use these rights. You use them or YOU WILL lose them.

I wouldn't worry about it to much.
Society is vastly different than it was during the civil war. If there was that much angst towards the fed's, they would get voted out of office long before a war broke out over it.

I am not an alarmist, but if you push the people too far, it will happen. Imagine a scenario where, due to inflation or collapse of the value of the dollar, or another terrorist attack, the economy collapses. People will need food, shelter, etc to survive, government can't help them (no money), local law enforcement goes home to protect their own families, etc. Law abiding, gun owning citizens will be angry enough to take back the streets at that point. The last thing they will do is give power back to the morons in Washington who caused the whole fiasco.
All really depends on how bad this economy gets, how much they try to tax us and what happens with the value of the dollar.
I don't know about you, but I know quite a few people who are already feeling the jackboot of liberal socialism on their neck and don't like it.

The scenario you depicted isn't a civil war, it is anarchy. You do have a point though, an extreme event could easily enough become a catalyst for such things to happen.

I better get my Obama symbol on the door and my portrait of out fearless leader hung in the foyer. Da Komrad, Da, whatever the great leader says. Hail our King Obama!
