Newt Gingrich warns of 3rd party mutiny
Gingrich predicts that a legitimate third party movement will develop by 2012 if the Republican Party does not clean up its act. Highly critical of the current administration’s reckless overspending and unprecedented expansion of power, Gingrich reminds Republicans that many of these policies were initially enacted by the Bush administration.

Some Tea Party organizers are making a huge mistake by making this about President Obama. This is about all our legislators who are not listening and following the constitution. The issue is bigger than the president.
We need to rally for a Fair Tax. Stop the waste and stop the bail outs. I would love to see ordinary citizens given a chance to speak for 5 minutes. Instead of only national speakers and talk show host. Lets have a session where anyone who register to speak can get up and speak for 5 mins. This will be a great opportunity for emerging leaders to be recognized. And then we can ask oursleves what we hope to accomplished after all these tea parties.
After all this, I hope there is TAx Reform. So the productive class isn't tax to death. This is not about being mad. It is about being wise. If people are mad they may do irrational things. The last thing we want is for these Tea Parties to turn violent.
We are not anarchists, we are patriots!!

In my opinion a third party is Obamas best chance of getting reelected. Ross Perot and the Al Franken situation come to mind.
I believe our best chance for our values are to get involved with the Republicans and provided the necessary influence to help get their act straight. I personally am going to change my registration from independant to republican so I can vote in the primaries.
Right now Newt and Gov Huckabee are looking like good candidates for our values.

I am all for a 3rd party, we need the best of the best from both parties. We need another option. I know many people who voted for Obama just because they didnt want a republican. So history cannot predict the future, as we all now know, neither party has our best interests in mind. Tea party members will be the 3rd party.

Right on my friend.I consider myself a Christian but the same holds true for tuning this into a Jesus rally or any other fill in the blank movement. I am sick of these morons trying to make this a “republican vs democrat”, a “conservative vs liberal” or a anything vs any other thing when it is clearly a “people vs unresponsive representatives” thing. The swamp in Washington needs to be drained.
