South Carolina, We Have a Problem
Congressman Barrett’s (R) took the stand at Greenville, SC’s Tea Party, but didn’t get the response he expected. The people of South Carolina did not fall for his attempt to make the movement a partisan blame game. They did not stand for his empty talking points. And, they did not forget that Barrett helped pass the first unconstitutional bailout.
“The problem they [the liberal Democrats] see is YOU,” said Congressman Garrett.
“No, you are part of the problem, Mr. Barrett,” indicated the crowd.

It is so good to see how people are not going to be intimidated by the treats from Barry. The American people have had enough of the harrassment that Barry has been dishing out with glee…everyday almost he throws something dumb out to us like we need to make sense of it and do it because he says to forget the law of our land just like he does…This terrorism by Barry is wrong…he is making too many Christians upset and he knows its him because he wants to medicate everyone and tell everyone they are crazy…Barry is the crazy one on the loose driving the whole world nuts with his pansy coward self.

I was at this rally and witnessed this event. WHOOIEEE!! I’m from up north and i thought i’d seen the cold shoulder, but i was wrong; and here i thought southerners were supposed to be the polite ones! (not that he didn’t deserve every boo of it.) The constituents he thought were going to be complacent about this stimulus bill really proved him wrong the other night. Its about time we start to sift the weeds out of the conservative garden!
Go South Carolina!

Bless these fine people from the great state of South Carolina. How refreshing to see people reject these hacks telling them one thing and then turning around and selling them out. I am sick of these morons trying to make this a “republican vs democrat”, a “conservative vs liberal” or a anything vs any another thing when it is clearly a “people vs unresponsive representatives” thing. The swamp in Washington needs to be drained. The problem with “we the people” is that we are caring, civilized, decent people and we have been continually abused by the coarser elements in our society. My wife and I attended both the tea parties in Cincinnati and Indianapolis and what struck me was how civil and courteous everyone was. I told my wife that this crowd is too nice, no one is going to listen to us. I think it is time to wake up and give our adversaries a dose of their own medicine. Enough is enough. We are mad as hell and we should start acting like it.

This was extremely refreshing and should be blasted over the airwaves at CNN, MSNBC, and other left-leaning media outlets. The focus is on wasteful spending and a drift away from local government power to expansive federal power. The majority of people participating in these events are good, sane people. We need to keep it up!

The problem with all of this hype is the congresman that need to be removed will not be “kicked out” For example for the DEMS: Barney Frank, The Kennedys, for the REP: Hatch, Specter. We need a total change over in Washington. Every eight years you are gone. No retirement plan, no health plan.. you are there as a real public servant. Until we really talk about changing Washington this whole subject is mute. We need to wean ourselves away from the dependency on the government. All Government entitlements need to be phased out for example: Social security, Medicaid, Medicare needs to be phased out… So Teaparty folks get real. Until this really happens lets just stop fooling ourselves…..

So what you suggest we do Daryl? Sit at home in the lazy boy and try to click them away with our remotes? And don’t act like it is just the demorats. What the heck has the repulicrats done for “we the people”? We know what needs to be done but don’t know how to go about achieving it. We have to start somewhere. Did you attend the Tea Parties? What are you doing personally? Enlighten us wayward Tea Bags.

Does anybody have video or audio of this event? It would be great if we could find a way to upload speeches from these events onto this site to be watched by others around the nation.
