Description
The Purpose of this group is to have members put in 144 character descriptions and urls to resources and articles of interest to TEA Party Patriots.(144 characters is max twitter size) As I have mentioned, we need to do less preaching to the choir and more recruitment… One way to do that is to create a list of Tweets, that each of us in a quick moment can go to cut and paste into twitter and quickly send. If you want to understand social networking marketing more, go to Group “Evangelizing the TEA Party Movement on Facebook.com and Myspace.com. You can also cut and paste these at the end of all of your postings as part of your signatures. Or onto your facebook page, myspace.com, friendster, bebo, aol.com, tagged.com, fanbox.com, yahoo.com etc.
HINT : Use bit.ly and/or twurl.cc to shorten your urls so you have more room for your teaser text.
(Because cut and pasting does not perfectly transfer formatting, double check and make sure line breaks do not make the post over 144 characters or break the url links before hitting send, or after hitting send in your resulting tweet.)
If you are brand new to Twitter.com, set up an account and “follow me” at “DMashak”. This will give you an idea of what I twitter and what the Twitterers that I follow Tweet.

HOPE AND DESPAIR
This is the text of a correspondence from a fellow citizen that I “cold called” and reached out to on Tagged.com by simply sending her resources to find out where her nearest Tea Party was.
I do not think i have to explain to any of you the commonality of thought, perspective and sentiment.

I shared some of the information you gave me with my grandmother, she shared it with my father. Both of them enjoyed what they read very much. Thank you! My dad lives in a… populated area. He can actually go to a tea party. The nearest one to where I live is over 3 hours away. If it were just me. I’d jump in a car and join them! I’d be honored to be numbered among those at the tea parties. I will think of them. I will be very glad this 4rth of July, because for the first time in my entire life, I have read that there are others that believe as I have always believed. Most people used to just dismiss me, if I said anything. I would share anyways, and encourage them to look into the state of things for themselves. The problems weren’t really hitting them though, so…. I guess you can understand the attitude. I don’t.
I don’t believe we can get a happy ending. I do believe that if we become a nuisance, even being to vocal, we will be silenced. I still am so happy to know that I have fellow countrymen who see as I see. I am NOT alone! :):):) you have done me a great favor in showing me that. I can’t thank you enough.

If not me, who? If not now, when?
The Founding Father’s risked and sacrificed much to establish this country. Many fellow patriots have died in wars to keep us free.
We owe it all of them to ensure that their risks, sacrifices and deaths were not in vain.
While many have made the ultimate sacrifice, all I ask of you is to create a twitter.com account, anonymous if you prefer, create a following and twitter one article or resource, once per day.
These thoughts were on my mind.
