I did not vote for Dubya. I still wouldn’t vote for Dubya, unless the only other choice was like Obama, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi or Clinton.
Why I'm a Tea Partier

Personally, I’m not so political. I’d rather be watching TV like a Democrat, or drive to someplace scenic and do the barbecue thing.

However, this is just not the time.

If we do, what we’re going to find is that we can’t afford the gas to go anywhere; we’ll find the government taxing the carbon monoxide coming out of the barbecue, the SUV and taxing the gas so much we can’t afford to buy food to barbecue. We could move if we could only afford to bring our homes up to Cap and Trade emissions standards….

That was intended to be somewhat humorous but, in truth, we’re seriously in danger of losing our GNP, our guns, our Constitution, our freedoms…. We’ve got to wake people up.

    Yesterday, January 27, 2010, the President of the United States, on national television told Americans that ”Americans don’t pay one dime more in taxes”. Let me be one of the first to say ”Mr. President: That is a lie”.

    I propose that each and every American look at you tax forms and pay stubs and compare them to only one year ago. If you now pay more taxes today, then blog, take out a small ad in your local newspaper, or make a sign and come out with us to the National Tax Day TEA Party and tell the world that the President lied. I believe the President is simply trying to write the history books, in advance. No student will read the blog of one John Dodrill but the world will read the speach of the President of the United States of America. So the President says to the world that United States citizens don’t pay one dime more in taxes. While you may throw things at your TV, yell and scream ”You lie”, the world and the history books will not hear you. However, if millions of you unite in Washington DC to tell the United States government the President lies and you aren’t going to take it any more, the President may say he doesn’t know anything about TEA Parties, and the television stations and newspapers may refuse to cover the event but word is spreading by word-of-mouth: from TEA Party Patriot to disgruntled citizen, who becomes a TEA Party Patriot…and so on.

    This then is my request. Make your voice heard. Come to Washington DC Tax Day, April 15th, 2010 and join the millions who will say to the President” Mr. President: You lie”. Until then, take out an ad in your local newspaper. Express your discontent in a blog. Connect with others. You are not alone.

    There is a law Title 42, Chapter 21, Subchapter I, Section 1983 by which I BELIEVE We the People might challenge any such health care bill as might pass into law. By challenge, I mean to sue the United States, as well as each and every Congressman and Senator who voted for the ”Health Care” bill and the President of the United States, to the limits of their personal liability.

    I don’t believe Congress has a Constitutional right to enact such a law. It would have to be done as a Constitutional Amendment. They’ve tried that at con-con and similar events and failed.

    I’m weary of inaction and being ignored by Congress and the President. I would like to see millions of such lawsuits, complete with subpoenas, ready to file at your local U.S. District Court and with the U.S. Marshall’s office as soon as the President’s pen comes anywhere near such a bill.

    Expect the filing fee to be less than but around $400.00. If enough of us file, filing a counter claim would be impractical.
