Bio

Worked in the Mining Industry since I was 18. Joined the Army National Guard at 19 and recently retired after 24 years as a Master Sergeant. Did one tour overseas. I still work in Mining as an engineer in Tucson.

Why I'm a Tea Partier

I was a democrat for 20+ years then one day I woke up and found out they had left me and my values behind. So I tried the republicans and they did the same thing. Now I stand in the middle with everyone else wondering what has happened to my country.

Politics

Political Party/Tendencies

I vote for the person, never the party. Anyone who votes straight party line is part of the problem.

  • Susan,

Thank you for asking. I think JFK was the only Democrat I would have voted for if I had been old enough and I can’t remember anymore, how old I was.

Immigration is easy, just stop paying aliens to come here and change the 14th ammendment.

Medical care is not an entittlement. Fifteen hundred pages is to make the real goal look like a good thing.

Global warming cannot be changed. We’re at a cyclic low in the last six hundred million years, with nowhere to go but up twenty degrees; unless THEY can change the attitude of the earth to the sun and the earth’s orbit. THEY don’t have enough fuel for THEIR use of fear mongering to control us so THEY’ve made this one up too.

THEY need to live withing our means, with our pay and benefits. They need to respect the Constitution and the Supreme Court needs to understand the Constitution is not opinion.

    Thanks again,
    Joe

  • Right on Brad!

Don’t let the bomb throwers drive this conversation! The American people are saying NO to throwing our money around willy-nilly. Health Care, Tap and Trade, they are distractions from what our ”leadership” should be doing…fixing the mess they ALL got us into by re-regulating the financial products that put the system at risk in the first place. We are FRUSTRATED and that does not make us NAZI’s or puppets of the GOP.

  • Thanks for your serice to our country. I agree with your ideals and never vote along party lines. I find myself voting more against politicians than voting for them these days.

All is not lost, let’s show them what a ”grass roots” movement is all about!

  • Accepted with honor and thank you for your service!

  • Thanks for the invite Susan and your service.

I myself have only ever voted for 1 Democrat, the late Governor Bob Casey. He truly had courage and principles. His son, the current Senator for PA, is an embarrassment as he supported the most radically pro-abortion candidate ever. Governor Casey believed in work and responsibility. His son is a socialist. As for Arlen Specter, like most Pennsylvanians, I hang my head in shame. I will say I never voted for him….not even once. I always wrote in a vote against him.
