I have never felt so empowered as I did on April 15th 2008. Surrounded by several thousand like-minded brothers and sisters. It was awesome. Today I am devoted to keeping that feeling and that momentum alive so we can stop the threat of Socialism in America and take back our republic! |

I want to start by saying, I believe that far too many politicians talk out their rumps and are just feeding voters what they believe will continue to get them the votes needed to win further elections. I plan to prove through my actions, both as a person and as the founder of The RIGHT Movement, and ultimately as a representative of the great State of Maine, that my word truly means something and that I can always be counted on to stand my ground and not waver in the face of adversity or in the heat of fear or anger. I mean no disrespect toward anyone reading this, nor to anyone not, when I say that my values and principles mean more to me than any person I’ll ever meet or any vote I may receive, and I will never sway from any one of them! So if you read these values and principles and agree with them, you can rest assured that no one and no thing will ever change or sway my opinions or my votes as your representative in the great State of Maine–or beyond! You can always trust that your best interests and your core values and principles are being watched out for. Always! I believe that the People of the United States of America are the rulers over their own lives and the masters of their own destinies and the government should play little to no role in the decisions made by citizens of this great country, so long as those decisions fall within the scope of constitutional law and the laws of their State, which are legislated by the citizens from said State. I believe that it is the people who have the final say in everything that happens within America’s boarders and that it is the governments responsibility to listen to the people and do what is in the best interest of the people and never in the best interest of themselves or in the best interest of the government. I believe that the Constitution of The United States of America is the absolute law of the land and elected officials are to never manipulate or ignore this treasured document, especially in an effort to abuse the power entrusted to them by the people they represent; and any elected official who preforms such act of treason should be immediately removed from office by his or her constituents. I believe that every elected official should be restricted to a limited number of terms, including those in the US Senate and Congress. Many people don’t realize that when this country was founded US Senators and Congressmen were appointed to Washington by their respective States, thus the reason why there were never term limits. For whatever reason, be it oversight, or intentional neglect, the issue of term limits was ignored and has since allowed for lifelong politicians to root themselves in such a way that makes it virtually impossible for them to lose elections. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and that marriage is and always should be defined as the union between one man and one woman. I believe that all people should have the right to live their lives the way they wish and have equal rights regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, heritage, etc, so long as it never impedes on the freedoms and/or happiness of other citizens and so long as it falls within the scope of constitutional law and the laws of their State, which are legislated by the citizens of said State. I believe that the government should massively cut back on spending and on the pure magnitude of size and return to its roots of basic necessities; mainly a source of military might, national defense, and international intelligence. Of course the Federal government is needed for more than just a strong military, however I stand firm in my belief that the Federal government’s role in the citizens’ daily lives should be as minimal as possible. I believe in encouraging a strong capitalist private market system, where the government serves only as a mediator, allowing the private sector to operate itself, while keeping within the scope of constitutional law and the laws of their State, which is legislated by the people of said State. I believe the Federal government should never own stake in any private business or enterprise and should never take any part in the operations or executive decisions thereof. I believe in protecting all innocent life, including life which has yet to take breath. It is my belief that life starts at the moment of conception and very markedly grows and matures from that point on: It kicks, it hiccups, it stretches, it cuddles, it punches, it pees and poops – it even eats. It’s tiny heart starts beating at around 18 days from the moment of conception and continues beating until which time it is halted, either by natural causes or by murder. This is a living child and should never be harmed unless absolutely medically necessary, in order to save the life of its mother. Never, should taking the life of an innocent child be the choice of any one individual and absolutely never should it be for non-medical, non-life threatening reasons. I believe that taxation is necessary in order to maintain a strong military and to help take care of those of us who are elderly, sick, disabled, veterans, or just may be have struggles. That said, I believe that taxation needs to always be kept at a bare minimum and that government should always be looking for ways to cut rather than spend. People and businesses are paying far too much in taxes these days and I believe we need to do everything in our power to bring those taxes back down to within acceptable levels. I am open to a total overhaul of the current taxation system. I believe that every American deserves to know what is happening in Washington. There should be no secrets kept from the public, except in rare cases of national security. In such cases of national security, the public should be made aware of such secrets and any details deemed reasonable by military generals to release as soon as the security risk has ended. I DO NOT believe that the government should ever do anything to put our country or our citizens at risk in order to maintain transparency. However, national security is the ONLY reason for any form of secrecy within our government. |
