In the “Back of the Book” segment last week, Glenn Beck traveled to Rome. No, he was not made a cardinal. He was meeting with Tea Party groups from all over the world. Apparently, Beck is trying to reignite the Tea Party movement, and he joins us now from New York City.

A new poll here in Texas confirms what some political analysts believe about the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat in Texas that’s being vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison. The poll, by the University of Texas and the Texas Tribune, shows the frontrunner is still the current Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst. He has 38 percent in the survey that was conducted between February 8 and 15.

On Monday 13, February 2012, at noon, in Medford Oregon, a demonstration will take place at Vogel Plaza against the passing of the NDAA. What is unusual about this action, and could be an indication of similar actions on other issues, is that it is uniting American citizens from across the political spectrum. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which was signed into law on December 31, 2011, is an assault on freedom and civil liberties.
