Time to Take Our Country Back!
In just over a week, ReTeaParty.com has received thousands of passionate letters and comments in support of freedom. We are listening to your advice and suggestions in appreciate all of your input. In response to your enthusiasm, check out the new features we have rolled out:
- A regular podcast is now available every week to get you the latest on the movement to take back America
- A forum has been set-up to organize and discuss your local TeaParties
- A store will be launched in the next couple days to provide defenders of the Constitution with revolutionary merchandise and supplies.
The battle for restoring our constitution has only begun, and we would like to ask for your support in the following areas:
- Calling into radio stations such as Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Savage
- Writing letters to the editor to newspapers and blogs in your hometown.
- Networking on various internet forums
- On March 10th, in honor of the 10th Amendment, send your representatives in every level of government a simple reminder to represent you.
One thing is clear from decades of reckless spending, undeclared wars, and the bipartisan destruction of our Constitution. The establishment cannot be entrusted with our future. Bailouts and spending packages skyrocket national debt, rob responsible savers, and stifle productivity investment.
It’s time for real change. It’s our turn to step up and save America from collapse.

Get off your Welbutrin and wake up and smell the coffee, not tea! I’m sending letters to my reps in NJ, Lautenberg and Menendez for months now and all I get is an auto-response and a secretary on the phone who opines to ME about having to answer all “these calls all day”. These reps are good for nothing!
This is a lot worse than dictates a tea party, folks! I can’t imagine what it will be like in another month. The market has plummeted to the worst it’s ever been and Obama thinks it’s great. In the meantime, his wife is running around in FREE costly designer dresses while the media says nothing, but couldn’t wait to pick on Palin when Obama was doing the worse with his cashmere suits!
You guys in the media are next and you deserve it. Not that I hope it comes to that, because we need you now, even though you screwed us before. But if you don’t start opening your mouths, you’re just as guilty as this thieving administration who is starting a war with the American people.
I never listened to Rush Limbaugh or talk radio before, but you know what? I’m going to start because the media is in lala land and Rush actually said something today that I can relate to - mostly because, it’s the TRUTH and I know, because I’m living and watching it happen, right now!

The White House diversionary tactics are very telling. When has the White House Cabinet members, the President, and the Press Secretary called out, naming their “targets”? When has a public figure like a talk-show entertainer named Rush Limbaugh ever gotten so much attention in American History? The WH is actually very transparent, but not in the way that NObama promised to be.
As Mark L. points out, our strengths lie with our ability to gain strength through thoughtful engagements, whatever they may be. Already, in just 6 weeks of NObama’s Oath of Office, our principled convictions have become ignited from outrage. Already, the NObama policies are being pitted against our basic rights and what we believe as our core beliefs. FOX News has become more and more vocal, as they watch their ratings climb. With many 401K plans at less than 50% face-value now, many people want answers, not bias.
The next immoral stunt that Pelosi and her ilk will attempt will be a ‘new’, covert Fairness Doctrine….embedded in some lame piece of legislature. They will go down the Constitutional Amendments one by one, starting with our First Amendment rights.
Then they will assault our Second Amendment. And all hell will break. Already, our military is preparing for internal revolt. Of course, much of this may be hidden if the US decides to protect our borders (finally) with National Guard because of the violence spilling over from the Mexican drug cartels.
It is all lying and hoax. The audacity of hoax. The man in the White House is one of many who is taking our Nation down a road we do not want to experience.
Like many others, I will NOT release my Constitutional rights as a U.S. Citizen. I will NOT give up my freedom. I will NOT surrender my liberty.

If you feel like it is time to reign government back in,
If you want a government that works for you and responds to your concerns,
If you want your government to act with responsibility in its stewardship of our national resources, to include your hard earned tax dollars,
Then, you owe it to yourself to study and understand HR 25, the “Fairtax.” The only problem with the Fairtax that you should be aware of is that you do not need a lawyer, lobbyist or politician to explain it to you. If you can read, you will get it. And if you get it, you will have to live with truth that we are selling out the American way of life to the highest bidder.
Please read “The FairTax Book” by Neal Boortz and Congressman John Linder. Then, contact your own congressman and senators to make sure that they sign on as co-sponsors. This is the greatest gift we can leave for our children.
The FairTax represents our best hope for solving our economic malaise and winning our government back from the “K Street” hustlers. Keep the hope alive! This is the real change that career politicians fear most.
Make them hear us.

Today I finally called my neighborhood bank investment counselor who has over the year’s reached out to counsel me on my meager IRA investments with them. Today I called Kathy at Chase. We reviewed the two accounts and came to the conclusion that the ultra conservative account that I had established in the late eighties/early nineties was fairing pretty well under the circumstances. But the other account that had been 4-5 times greater in the past glory days was now so minimal that the loss would not be felt. So we agreed that I would not make any changes. At this point I vented about my concern for the country and the radical assault on our country and the Constitution. I mentioned that I had heard that ‘tea parties’ were starting to explode through the country. She happily started googling to learn more for herself. The fear and concern is deep and wide. My closing thought to her and to you was that as hard as the economic nightmare is, my husband and I had already been through the fires of loss with Lucent. His time with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent for almost 40 years came to shattering end with lessons well-learned in putting your faith and eggs in one basket. So now my retirement which once looked so puny, is the largest financial nest egg we can control. So my perspective is slightly different from many. I am coming to believe that this economic hurricane may be our salvation. Now we see what many have felt during the unending presidential campaign–DANGER. Unfettered dogmatic Socialism, or dare I say festering Communism–has come to America. Russian leaders long dead said that America would fall from the inside. Now people are seeing and feeling the precipice rush toward us. Here is the good news! We know. This economy is forcing us to see. It has shaken us out of cosy lives of luxury. Let us use this to our advantage. We must help others see what we know. And fight as we always do when our backs are against the wall!

For their happiness such a government willingly labors, but it chooses to be the sole agent and the only arbiter of that happiness; it provides for their security, foresees and supplies their necessities, facilitates their pleasures, manages their principal concerns, directs their industry, regulates the descent of property, and subdivides their inheritances: what remains, but to spare them all the care of thinking and all the trouble of living?” Ultimately, the AMERICAN citizen exists and becomes nothing more than a “util”, a mindless, meaningless, valueless unit of production thinking little save that which should be thought and as programmed by that big brother government that is the source of all that is necessary and good. The citizen exists to produce, so that the government might grow and prosper.
Of course, in this scenario all become weak leading to an inevitable collapse. AMERICA is no more, but, in reality, anything resembling the AMERICA of the forefathers, AMERICA of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the embodiment of the dreams of our forefathers, dreams for which they all were willing to fight and die, will have long since have died. It is no longer a question of whether we will let this happen. It has already begun, just as surely as so many of the values and institutions that defined the dream have effectively died.
Remember this from typing 101, “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of our country.” This IS our AMERICA, our country! Will we sit idly by as the greed, corruption, personal agendas of a few, and self-interests of an ignorant, lazy, and apathetic sector of our population destroy us from within? The government answers to the citizens. When the government and the representatives of the citizens of the United States strays from that which constitutional, then it is time for those citizen patriots to act while it is still possible to do so. The voice and the will is no longer being heard in Washington as our federal leaders as well as many in state offices are driven more by greed and building their power base than by that which is best for AMERICA. Fascism is NOT. Communism is NOT. Totalitarianism in any form is NOT. Nor, is the destruction of American business and our economy any more than the distorted vision of a Washington intelligentsia whose world and life view has ushered in social, economic, and a host of other changes sufficient to clearly show us where this is all going.
Many have lost their homes. Millions have lost their jobs. Countless numbers have lost the very life savings and investments that were to provide for their elder years. Families across the land are already fearful of where their next meal will come from. Companies, large and small, are going out of business every day. As a nation, we are already close to financial ruin as we spend ever more while counting on more debt and more credit to save us. Meanwhile, we ever turn to our new savior to provide. Why do I have images of past demigods who allowed countless millions to perish as long as the new social programs grew and central power flourished? In Rome, the Christians were the source of socities problems. In Germany, Hitler chose to blame the Jews. In Russia, it was the Bourgeoisie versus the Proletariats. History shows us the evils of propaganda and the news media when used to selectively target one group while promoting the new ideal. Today, it is the “rich” and the successful businesses that have become the new group that play the role of the enemy of the government of the people. Are we that easily betrayed? Will the new social goal of total income redistribution be allowed to destroy the very basis for the generation of jobs and, ironically, the holy taxes that feed the rapidly growing monster? Who will then pay the ever-rising taxes that are the key to assuring the principle of from each according to his abilities…to each according to his needs? YOU, the now greatly diminished util of the state. You produce. The state will distribute.
Of course, the schools, the youth corps, the divine church of the new redeemer, and the news media will support the rightness of it all as a new, ever more progressive legion of properly educated “American Youth” serve to weed out those who might differ. Sound farfetched? It has happened repeatedly and, for those with eyes to see, and ears to hear, it is already beginning here. Is anyone really listening, or is our apathy, laziness, and ignorance that pervasive. I think not! A sleeping lion has awakened and in a few short weeks we have already begun t o net the consequence of unbridled democracy wherein the masses have replaced their opiate of religion with faith in the government. It all sounds so good that it MUST be good!
Simple marches and tea parties are not enough. Letters to representatives are no longer enough. Our country has already over the past several years devolved to the point that years of greed and self interest have brought us to where we are today, just as surely as even the simplest understanding of the many events that led to the Declaration of Independence finally led to the requirement of the people to respond with this:
“whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security…And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor. “
Today’s need is not one requiring the overthrow of the foundation of the United States government, it is one of fulfilling our requirement as a citizen patriot people to return our government to that Constitutional rule which was its vary basis. Towards this goal we must all pledge our lives, liberty, fortunes, and our sacred honor.
