With momentum building allover the country, the San Diego Tea Party Meetup Group is taking steps necessary to make sure that this movement is a success. Check out their next meeting agenda to get some ideas on how groups are utilizing different social networks to coordinate and communicate with other patriotic supporters in their local area on a more personal level. Please contact us at ReTeaParty.com or any Tea Party MeetUp organizers around the country for advice or more information.

March 21st Tea Party Organizational Meet-Up
Balboa Park (Right Next To Founder’s Plaza at El Prado and 6th Ave.)
    Saturday, March 21st, 12:30pm

Who We Are: We are concerned citizens just like everyone else that have had enough of government waste, corruption, and intrusion into our daily lives. We are non-partisan, directing our angst not at a particular party or person, but at the collective failures of our entire congress to follow and uphold the Constitution. We are devoted to making a difference and get our elected representatives to listen to our voice.

Why We Made This Movement: As concerned citizens, we are tired of seeing our government waste our money without asking us first!

We’re tired of having our taxes raised to pay for other peoples’ mistakes and failures!

We’re tired of having a government that doesn’t listen to us anymore and continually insults our beliefs and values; that heaps injury after repeated injury upon our already burden-laden shoulders!

We want to help people better understand what this Great Nation is REALLY all about so that we might all return to those Founding Ideas and Principles; those of respect for individual rights, voluntary action, and self determination; principles that put faith in people above faith in government!

Agenda: To meet each other, to further organize our group, and to start planning for the April 15th and the July 4th Main Event!

Goal: To raise awareness about our out of control government; their out of control spending; out of control taxes; out of control socialist agendas; and to spread knowledge and understanding concerning the Founding Ideas and Principles of this Great Country!

Items to Discuss: Who wants to take leadership roles? How can we most effectively contact radio stations, newspapers, and other media outlets? How can we best approach our elected officials? Can we get public figures to endorse or speak at our events? How can we get our friends, families, and workmates to join us in protecting our futures?

    We’ll supply plenty of food!
Bring your own drinks, lawn chairs, and Patriotic Fervor!

A small committee of American citizens from across the nation and from every walk-of-life has
created a Petition for Redress of Grievances that we hope will provide a consistent vehicle for
delivering a powerful message to OUR government.

We hope you will find it fitting to use this petition at your Tea Party.

Our goal is to gather 1 million signatures and then to combine with a DC rally to make a show of
    delivering the petition.

We have heard from a number of Tea Party organizers who intend to use this petition including:

    Cheyenne, WY
    Oklahoma City, OK
    Houston, TX
    Sarasota, FL
    San Antonio, TX
    Miami, FL
    Trenton, NJ
    Knoxville, TN
    Mt. Juliet, TN
    and others.

You can see the petition at http://www.912petitions.com
