Sean Hannity to broadcast from Atlanta Tea Party

On April 15, Sean Hannity will perform his popular Fox News program live from the Atlanta Tea Party. While we welcome the publicity from such a major media player, we would encourage Americans to adopt a more nonpartisan approach during the nationwide tea party rallies.

While many of Hannity’s pointed criticisms of the Obama administration’s economic policies are valid, it must also be noted that his strident, partisan approach has, at times, failed to admit the fiscal irresponsibility of Bush and Republicans in Congress.

During Bush’s eight year tenure, he and the Republican Congress, which held a majority for six years, doubled the size of the national debt. Not once did they pass a balanced budget.

In addition, the massive government bailouts of 2008 were initiated by President Bush and supported by a fair number of Republicans in Congress.

So, while the new administration pursues a course of reckless government spending, intervention, and expansion, Republican leadership bears its fair share of the blame as well.

This revolution should not be utilized as a tool to pit Republican vs. Democrat. Instead, it should welcome all those, whether Democrat, Republican, Independent, or Third Party, who wish to restore America’s constitutional foundation of limited government, sound money, and free market capitalism.

I totally agree, the american people have to stop letting the establishment divide to conquer by going from republican to democrat and left to right. They must open their eyes and see that there has been no real change other than heading to socialism over the past 40 to 50 years, regardless of party. It is time to take this country back now or it will be to late we will never have the change again. This is the time that tries men's souls, hopefully enough people will care how important freedom is and join the fight!!!!!

Name calling isn't going to help. Spread the word, ALL AMERICANS are in jeopardy, therefore we need Americans from every political perspective to protest. Virtually ALL of the politicians in D.C. need to be replaced. The problem in D.C. is systemic, we must vote out 95% of all elected officials in city, county, state and National elections, and vote in people that will balance budgets, stand up for the U.S. Constitution.

Amen to that! I also say that the clowns in D.C. need term limits. We need to end career politicians. Get in…acheive your goals, then get out to allow fresh faces in.

I understand why the Tea Party do not want certain people to be at the Protests, but we need all the help we can get to get the word out.

Be it Sean Hannity, Glen Beck or whomever, they are citizens first before Political parties so they should be welcome. Also Bush, Pelosi, Reid and Obama had a hand in the first bail out. Remember Obama told Bush to pass the bill for the first bailout. So I blame both parties. Foot Soldiers, LETS ROLL!!!!
    DON'T TREAD ON US!!!!

  7. Well said. We're being one-two sucker-punched, thanks to one party being in control of two branches for so many years. It doesn't matter that they were both one party, then the other. The Constitution was designed for intentional deadlock to protect us from out-of-control government intervention in our lives. The sad part is that the American People themselves are asking for salvation via Big Brother managing all our resources — and liberties — and either party is more than willing to make us happy and feeling safe. Like Paine, I prefer death.

SHOUT HIM DOWN IF HE TRYS TO SPEAK @ A TEA PARTY—AS LOUD AS YOU CAN—TIRED OF THE LIARS FROM EITHER PARTY—–AND ANYONE WHO SPEAKS FOR THEM—

DO NOT allow Sean Hannity and the other usual suspects hijack this tea party! It is not about them and their ratings! They are frauds!!! Where were they when Bush was destroying our country!? He and the other faux conservatives who didn't march last year (Yes- across the nation Ron Paul supports held tea parties! Last year. Glad you all decided to finally show up!) but instead drank the “republican” kool aid ought to be ashamed to show their faces! I hope you give them the warm welcome they deserve! Frauds all of them, and remember this IS NOT a democrat vs. republican issues but an American issue. When Samuel Adams and those other brave patriots held the first tea party in the Boston Harbor, they sparked what probably created the REVOLUTION!

There is NO difference between either party, so please wake up and support Constitutional Candidates like Ron Paul!! Send Hannity packing back to FAUX NEWS!

Further, where are all the talking head dems who trashed Bush but now allow Obama to TRIPLE our deficit and support this new facism! Frauds all of you- Left and Right!

I Really am getting Frustrated at all this ignorant Republicans complaining about Their damn taxes. It is the Job of every American citizen to pay their taxes. It supports our army, and our schools, and their Bitching about supporting our Wonderful troops fighting so the elders and youths don't have too.
They had their change with Getting tax cut and LOOK at were it got us is deep Shit. One of the Biggest things is the YOU must raise taxes when at WAR to Fund it! But i do have to say Obama should have raised it for everyone but the way I see it is ALL those taxes that Most of The Republicans didn't Pay for the War Their paying For it Know. another comment by me is On Shawn Hannity Complaining and saying obama isn't complying to America JUST because He doesn't Comply With YOU SHAWN and you upper class citizens It Doesn't make You America. He may not be complying to all off America but he is Complying To Most Of America THE MIDDLE-CLASS and THE LOWER-CLASS. Yeah Forgot they were here too.So You, FOX New,and your bitching un-troop supporting but-holes go make a little kids club and get you Brainwashing of the air,Cause the Battle is over and America made their Minds up and their fed up with you guys and your Tax-Cuts,and Even if President Obama is not doing Great,He is doing better then Presi….EX-President Bush could Ever do same with McCain Also.

Branden, I take it you don't have a job. Pretty atrocious grammar, too. If you DID have a job like most responsible middle-class Americans, you'd notice that the government can take 30 to 60 percent of you gross income. While taxes should pay for our military and our schools, it should not spend $100 million dollars to determine if rock 'n roll kills plant life. You should also notice that our (yours too!) taxes will be raised significantly over the next few years. Our Fed is printing money we don't have. Ever play Monopoly? Supposed you were broke, in hock on your properties and landed on Boardwalk with 2 hotels. You have no cash, no propeties to mortgage, so you grab scatch paper and make new Monopoly money to pay for the rent. Doesn't work in Monopoly; won't work in real life, either.

Branden, if you're twenty years old or younger let's consider how much YOU personally will be paying for the Obama/Bush excessive spending sprees. 12.8 TRILLION in new spending with over $806,000,000,000 in interest over the next ten years. You will be paying $114,000 in new taxes just on the interest alone!! That's you, Branden Young, making absurd comments. Take a good look at your paycheck in a few years and see how much you will have taken out. Take a look at how much you will be paying at the pump. Take a look at how much your mortgage rates will increase.

It may be fun and games for Internet trolls, but Obama will set his sights on their wallets too- that is if they ever grow up.

Actually, Glenn Beck was warning us about this since 2006. He was totally against the Bush bailout- along with Limbaugh, Hannity, and Levin. These people are not hijacking the tea party, elsewise they would be booed off the stage. Having seen them live in Atlanta, New York, and San Antonio, that hasn't happened yet. They also realize that this isn't a conservative/liberal, democrat/republican issue. This is pure grassroots from concerned Americans who are witnessing a runaway spending binge by Congress and the Fed.

I am quite surprised at your middle paragraph about FAUX NEWS. So far I haven't seen any other media outlet who has given this cause greater coverage than Fox. Most others have sold their souls to the Obama administration. If you support the tea party, and I take it that you do, did you know that the LA Times thinks that you're insane? Did you further know that the Dept of Homeland Security would call you a right-wing extremist just for attending the rallies.

Republicans lack conservative leadership. They lack spine and forsake personal responsibility. We need a Reagan to return our country to its roots, and there is no one out there other than Bobby Jindal, Gov. Perry of Texas, and Sarah Palin.

  16. Husband said:

If you're 20 and younger, I'll witness the absurdity of you having to personally pay over $114, 000 in new taxes to pay off the interest of this insane spending.

  17. Husband said:

I heard Hannity and Newt at the tea parties, and both were well received.

  18. Husband said:

You're referring to the checks and balances of government. Good point. But intentional deadlock can prohibit good bills from passing- thus nothing ever gets done.

  19. Husband said:

Hey, they gave it more coverage than the other news outlets, which portrayed us as kooks, out of touch, owned by big business, and a bunch of other incompetent remarks. If you don't like it, form you own media outlet.
