CA Assemblyman Declares His Independence
It not unusual for politicians, like Arlen Specter, to switch affiliation when their party is out of power. However, in a rare occurrence, former Democrat Assemblyman Juan Arambula re-registered as an Independent (called “decline to state” in California), saying “The special interests have a lot to say about what goes on in both parties. But my real frustration is I can’t be effective for my constituents [in the Democratic Party].”
Is this a sign that the tide is turning? Are politicians waking up to the fact that voters are just plain fed up with political games? Have the special interest finally gone too far? This July 4th, let’s join Assemblyman Arambula, other Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, and everyone else that is sending a message to the political elite, and Re-Declare Our Independence.

They will just rename like in my local town. They haven’t been called democrats in several elections. Of course those they have dumbed down will be too stupid to see the difference. They don’t care what they are called as long ast they hand out gov’t cheese.

Unless your bracketed paraphrased quote is misleading, it appears as if the “Honorable” Assemblyman will still be carrying out the agenda of the liberal fascists. But now it will be as a so-called “independent” Assemblyman. Read the underlying article and realize that he will still be pushing the special interest education lobby agenda as he always has. As the article states: He [Arambula] assures us that the DEMOCRAT CAUCUS will continue fighting for important “safety net” efforts, such as schools. [Emphasis added.] We know where he really stands.

Raising Cane, This is how our country was formed after all. The President just made a clear line in the sand for the public option!! He is not gonna waver from that he is gonna push this healthcare thing through at any cost…We the people have to make a bold stand against the Government these town hall meetings are not working…We need to raise cane a bold move to make them not just listen but to make them change this thing…Walk on capital hill, protest against the Gov. strike on not working, somthing I don’t know…We are the one that has all this correct and if we don’t start to stand up and draw our line they are gonna do this thing at all cost..Pls help us get the mssg out even more we need to take a bolder stands…
