We’re having a Union County TEA Party in Monroe, NC, at noon on Saturday 9/12/09 at the Old County Courthouse (300 N Main St). It’s gonna be a real fun event… excellent speakers, music, snow cones, information booths, and many other concerned citizens. I hope you can come!

the problem is not democrats or republicans. they are pitted against each other in eternal struggle but i think these politicians unknowingly serve the same agenda. we started losing liberties and became a nation in debt when bush was in office. under obama we plunge further into debt making us ever more dependent on big government. also, our nation is being built to be dependent on the rest of the world and we find ourselves basically forced into ever increasing globalism. someone behind the scenes is pulling strings. maybe its all about the money, maybe its about building one big global anthill where every ant has its place. Whatever the case, i believe on the global chessboard, we are the pawns. who is king?

this letter is about how to use the attachment; but I must told you that the case should base on US law regarding dual citizenship and my question either some one once in his/her life time has dual nationality according to US law or still had that status according to that law could make the natural born status is nullified or not. If they do then here’s the attachment

1. look at dual nationality in the US own law;
2. Then look at his own book dreams from my father
3. Look first at the second attachment on law No. that had Indonesian citizenship law during his time in Indonesia from 1967 and 1971 on :
a. Base from the marriage time between his step father and his mother that took place in Hawaii; if this happened before 4 august 1966 then he is the subject of article 2 of Indonesian citizenship law No.62/1958 for the adoption due to marriage date is counted.

b. But if he denies this by saying that he was stayed on Indonesian land during 1967; then he also the subject of article 13 of this law on the attachment of law no.doc that include law no 62/1958 about Indonesian citizenship law; now Indonesia had replacement of this law law no.12/2006 that allowed the minor child from legal marriage acquired the citizenship of the mother as well and that means that the child now could had dual nationality before reach 18 years old and had never been married before 18 years old. .
c. His mother papers in Indonesia must also been looked for; if she had not being asked about her passport and visa’s when she was stayed in Indonesia then according to Indonesian law she had Indonesian citizenship; as article 7 to 10 of that law said.
d About his half sister; she is the subject of the article 1 and 2 of that law.
e. Should his lawyer said that according to article 17 of that law he had renounced Indonesian citizenship then he must have record on Indonesian authority. For if you wanted to renounced your Indonesian nationality only could be done by saying that to Indonesian embassy and consulate to be sent to Indonesian court of law. Other wise then you’re still an Indonesian. If you’re not reporting to Indonesian embassy/consulate when you’re stayed on foreign land then you’re still an Indonesian citizen and had to be fine due lack of reporting on each time the law of Indonesian has required (look again on that law No.62/1958)
f. The attachment of law No.doc also contains Indonesian marriage law before and after 1974. This will told all of you that according to Indonesian law and you could also see on Indonesian civil code that for minor children and not yet being marriage on 17 year old; all the matter before the law including Indonesian citizenship is up to the parents. this case since Indonesian citizen is the father then he had Indonesian citizenship and you could also seek the fact of that on Indonesian civil code. And also know this:

the only way he could renounce the Indonesian citizenship:
1. As adult 21 years old or marriage before 17 years old he must also had procedure to said that he wanted to renounce his Indonesian citizenship on either Indonesian consulate/ embassy or must reporting to Indonesian court if he was in Indonesia.
2. If as minor then he must be doing that under the parents wish; however this could only be done if the Indonesian father had divorce his mom or renounce his own nationality other wise it’s going too much trouble for him.
3. If there’s no record at all by Indonesian side about this and they told you that he never become Indonesian citizen at any point at his life; then they was lied to you.
4. If he said that his mom is an atheist and also his step father is non practicing muslim; then during the situation in Indonesia in 1965-1998; any one said he/she is non practicing religion or an atheist then = to communist = to sudden death from Indonesian gov under Soeharto regime.
g. Now last but not the least that I had also on law no.doc file the partially translate law of Indonesian marriage law before and after 1974; read this thoroughly and carefully. All I had translate is about potus only.

I almost forget about 2 things:
1. Look at article 27 of Indonesian constitution before amendment to article 34 and article 26 to article 34 after the amendment.
2. And finally he could not being caught by an Indonesian law if his family not moved to Indonesia. But since they were moved to Indonesia and according to Indonesian law principle ( ius soli, ius sanguinis and no retroactive) means also all people inhabitant Indonesian land is the subject of Indonesia law; also get this he shall never have Indonesian passport unless he is an Indonesian citizen or work for US embassy and had special permittion.

Two social movements that are desperately needed in this country:

1. Reform elections to get the money out of politics. Other countries do it, so can we. Most people agree we need to get the money out of politics and make it about what is right for the people.

2. Tell people to move their money out of big banks and into small community banks and credit unions so that these big bankers who are getting away with murder cannot play with the money of hardworking Americans.

Mission: The United States was founded so that ordinary people could govern themselves using principals of fairness, majority consensus and individuals rights. The Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights were authored and ratified because our founding fathers objected to a political system where a privileged minority oppressed ordinary citizens and forced them to surrender the fruits of their hard work in order to enrich an oppressive monarchy. Over the years in this country, organizations, wealthy individuals and business entities have used their wealth to finance political campaigns in order to influence leaders in forming public policy. Over and over this influence has resulted in decisions that have been detrimental to the public’s interest. Democracy Project seeks to get corporate money out of politics by proposing election systems that are publicly funded and based on democratic principals in order to get true representational leadership, so that public policy decisions and expenditures will reflect the will and consensus of the citizens of this country—not just a privileged minority.

Do you think corporations and corporate money have too much influence on political decisions in the US today?
Do you think there is too much corporate influence in politics because corporations and organizations are allowed to lobby politicians and make campaign donations?

Pledge from Politicians

Ask politicians to sign a pledge that they will support publicly funded elections—specifically due to concerns with corporate money having too much power and influence over public policy and legislation.
Publish results of pledge drive on website—follow up to see who keeps pledge and who doesn’t.
Ask progressive and conservative organizations to publish the results of this pledge drive—letting them know where their candidates stand on this issue.

Identify the Most Democratic Election Systems

Within this pledge, ask candidates to fund a study to determine an ideal system of electing leaders. The system should have the following features:

Easy Access

With no favoritism of states

Survey how other democracies around the world conduct elections—to determine an ideal system.

Publicly Funded Elections

Publicly funded elections are defined as elections wherein no corporate or special interest may fund the election campaigns of political leaders. In order to obtain their broadcasting licenses, it is proposed that television networks provide funding for all broadcast areas to receive a public access television station. Candidates for congress, senate and the presidency should have equal access to broadcasting time on this network. At least 60% of the networks broadcast schedule should be available for this purpose. Additionally, candidates should have equal access to Federal and state funded public venues like public school auditoriums in order to hold speeches and rallies. For major elections, it is proposed that there are generally three final candidates, the incumbent and two challengers who obtained a majority number of signers on a petition to obtain their candidate status.

Petitions are collected either manually or via email and converted to electronic petitions. In any given cycle, a voter may only sign a petition to support one new candidate for each office. Petitions are electronically cross checked for duplication and if there is a duplicate record, the signer is mailed a form and asked to make one selection. These duplicate signer names are deleted from the petition until a certified form is received verifying one selection. Perhaps even manually signed petitions can be collected with electronic devices (like when you sign for a FedEx delivery). The voter can enter their SSN and voter PIN on a handheld device—which would not be revealed to the collector of signatures—with entries that appear as asterisks (**) when typed in. It is important to have such a system to identify that signers are legitimate voters and that signatures are not being duplicated. Fortunately, technology is advanced enough to provide for easy verification and collection of such data. Depending on the technology, it is possible that duplicate signers can be identified at the point of signature collection and they can be advised at that time that they cannot be counted as signers, since they have already made a selection. If the signer indicates an error or discrepancy in these results, they may fill out a card challenging the prior selection and certifying whether they have simply changed their selection or if there is an apparent error or an indication of vote tampering. Indications of error and vote tampering are treated seriously and quickly investigated within a certain time period.

With publicly funded elections, there is no paid advertising of any kind permitted—not by candidates themselves, by political groups or third parties.

The final three candidates are publicly funded to maintain individual websites to advise voters of their position on issues.

Political groups and interest groups may conduct events to discuss issues and to support their candidates—but they cannot purchase advertising in any form to campaign for any particular candidate. Companies and individuals are also prohibited from donating political advertisements for individual candidates. With this proposal, political groups and public interest groups are prohibited from hiring paid staff for the purpose of soliciting votes for any particular candidate. Staff members of incumbent politicians are likewise prohibited from engaging in soliciting votes for their employers during their work day. Employees cannot be requested, invited or compelled by employers to engage in any kind of political activity. These proposed laws are meant to empower individual voters and to discourage commercial interests from intruding on the process of selecting political leaders. This process seeks to break the ties and monetary obligations of political candidates to corporate and special interest campaign sponsors, so that politicians can better serve the interests of the entire electorate—not just the interests of a corporation or interest group that funded or promises to fund an individual political campaign. We have seen that the existing system has currently focused political leaders too much on campaigning while in office—providing them with less time and attention to the duties of governance and that the current system has often lead to decisions which favor a minority corporate or special interest over the majority public good.

To assist the electorate with obtaining information on candidates, it is proposed that the federal government maintain a website and provide pamphlets available at libraries and post offices that provide a clear format with the candidate’s voting records. If they wish, candidates can link this information to their individual websites. It’s proposed that such clear and unbiased summaries are made on issues of public interest—providing an easily discernable record of a seasoned politician’s stance on various issues.

It is important that networks, when reporting on individual politicians, be required to clearly disclose the political biases of the corporations that own the networks.

In order to stop the promulgation of rumor and scandal as a tool of political influence, Congress should consider instituting privacy laws that protect both private individuals and political leaders. Countries like France have had success in providing personal privacy for their leaders while still preserving free speech and freedom of the press. It is widely believed that politically dredged up scandals like those that occurred during the years of the Clinton presidency do not serve the public’s interest, waste public monies and create serious intrusions on the process of governing. Until we are able to evolve to have 100% perfect and infallible leaders, there should be some privacy protections offered to safeguard the process of governance from individual foibles that do not break the law and should rightly remain private and not subject to public scrutiny.

How Citizens are Registered to Vote; Safeguards against Voting Fraud

Certified letters are sent to existing US citizens and to new voters when they turn 18 years old. Citizens are required to show a state issued ID like a driver’s license to retrieve the letter from the post office and sign a receipt acknowledging their identity and that they are citizens.

The letter confirms their voting eligibility and asks them to use their SSN and a 4-digit computer generated PIN to call a computer-manned phone number to register to vote. When they call, they choose a new PIN. This new PIN along with their SSN is the identification utilized to vote by phone.

Election centers are set up initially with phone banks in order to help people to utilize the new system. Election Day is established with 24 hour call-in votes accepted on a Saturday to maximize participation.

Voting by phone on a designated election day is estimated to allow for nearly 100% voter participation.

Computer records retain the votes for a one year period following the election and results can be cross checked and verified. In the case of legal challenges, the records are retained for as long as necessary to obtain definitive results.

After each election a random sampling of at least 2% of votes is pulled and letters are mailed out to voters verifying the vote that was received. The voter is given a return postage-paid return card and asked to certify the accuracy of the vote recorded.

Additionally, opposing parties are publicly funded to conduct their own polls of election results. If the poll results—conducted appropriately, representative of electorate demographics–indicate a significant discrepancy with the election results, the parties have the right to pull additional vote records and individually verify a greater number of votes received. Any indication of fraud or error between the votes that people made and the way the results were recorded may be grounds for further scrutiny of voting results.

Vote tampering is considered a serious Federal offense with appropriately severe criminal and civil penalties.

Improvements with the new Election System

With this new election system there is no favoritism of states like Iowa or New Hampshire. Candidates rise from local venues via general consensus as reflected in signed petitions. Final candidates for high office campaign for a period of time and votes are taken from every state.

It is proposed that congressional leaders be designated by school districts. Depending on the population, candidates may represent more than one adjacent school district. The old system of parties manipulating district boundaries to get the voter mix that works for them should be discarded as manipulative and dishonest. Voters living in a particular school district for at least six months can sign a petition for a new candidate in that district to replace the incumbent congressman. Voters can sign petitions for new state candidates for the senate as long as they are residents of that state for at least six months. Presidential candidates should be chosen via a majority of petition signatures and limited to 10 semi-final candidates. A minimal publicly funded budget is allotted for all semi-final candidates to allow for them to travel to public access venues in all states. Presidential semi-final candidates should have a 9 month period to campaign, after which petition signatures are tallied to select three candidates. If the incumbent president is in the race, petitions would be tallied for two additional candidates. For three months, the final candidates are reviewed by voters, conduct debates televised on public access television and then a final vote is taken. There are no “electoral votes.” Each individual’s vote is counted and the candidate with the majority of votes is elected into office.

Remember one thing gentleman. Our Grand parents have paid in to FICA for 63 yrs. AND now a commitment made by the Federal Govenment isn’t worth spit and I don’t expect it to be in the future. We have a government run by a congress controlled by a President who is very much an \Old style Chicago Politician\.If you don’t get what you want \Buy it or send in the Muscle\
It may be radical but I can’t help wondering if this health care bill isn’t really about 2012. Mr. O put people on the street to turn out the vote from minority groups and he won by a very small margin. There are those who say the Hispanic vote put him over the top.

Caucasians are expected to be a minority in the next twenty years. The birthrate for Hispanics is much higher than caucasians because the average age for latino’s is 27.4 years as opposed to caucasians at 40.7 years plus they have the incentive of having \anchor babies\. (Sorry, it needed to e said)

I am not a Racist but since Mr. O is playing the Race Card and throwing Seniors under the bus, so can I when I say that the 31 million without insurance are 14 million living under the poverty Level and those slightly above the poverty level who get their health care for free thru social services and Hospital ER’s.

As a lower income middle class citizen I’m going to pay either the Federal Government in Taxes or the Insurance Co. At least when I pay insurance company I’m their premium paying customer and I’m going to be taken care of. My agent will protect his commission.

Mr. O, I’m well below the $200,000 limit you promised to protect from tax increases. I don’t know how many people think about, but, everytime you offer a tax break for buying green or Cash for Clunkers or even worse your incentive for hiring is in the form of no employee taxes for a year. Those taxes are social security revenue !!!!! There not federal taxes their selective taxes just the just like th La, Nebraska Bribes.
