The Iranian people speak up, stand up but does America take a stand with them, do we support them? No, we just sit there and say little about their strong demonstrations to make a significant change in their future. Maybe it would not lead them to big freedoms but a small move in the right direction of freedom is a big move for them. Meanwhile we are allowing this leader of ours who does not have the courage to speak out, to dismantle our freedoms right under our noses. How does that make us? How strong are Americans?
I think we need to take a strong hard look at ourselves. We need to wonder about ourselves, our future also. Maybe we should not be looking so closely at other faults when we have such glaring ones of our own. One should not complain about another man’s speck of dust in his eye when he has pebble in his own.
